2. Booking and Reservations

  • Availability: All bookings are subject to availability. A confirmation email will be sent after your booking has been processed.
  • Check-in and Check-out: Check-in time is from 3:00 PM, and check-out time is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out requests may be granted subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • Identification: Upon check-in, you may be required to present a valid ID and the credit card used for the booking.
  • Special Requests: While we will make every effort to accommodate special requests (e.g., dietary needs or room preferences), they are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

3. Payments and Cancellations

  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash payments for bookings made directly through the hotel. Any additional charges incurred during your stay will be settled upon check-out.
  • Deposits: A deposit may be required at the time of booking, depending on the rate or package you select.
  • Cancellations: Our cancellation policy varies depending on the booking type. Generally:
    • For flexible rates, cancellations made up to 24 hours before check-in will be fully refunded.
    • For non-refundable bookings, the full amount is charged at the time of booking, and no refund will be issued if the reservation is canceled or modified.
    • Group or event bookings may have different cancellation policies as stated in your booking confirmation.
  • No-show Policy: If you do not show up for your booking and have not canceled, the full stay will be charged, and no refund will be given.

4. Room Rates and Taxes

  • Pricing: All rates quoted on our website are per room, per night, and include VAT unless stated otherwise. Additional services or amenities may incur extra charges.
  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to change room rates or promotional offers at any time. However, once your booking is confirmed, the price quoted will not change.
  • Taxes: VAT and applicable local taxes are included in the room rates. Should there be changes in the applicable tax laws, these will be reflected in the final bill.

5. Hotel Policies

  • Smoking Policy: Lancaster House Hotel is a non-smoking property. Smoking in guest rooms or public areas is strictly prohibited and may result in a cleaning fee of £150.
  • Pets: Pets are not allowed unless otherwise stated or pre-arranged, with the exception of service animals.
  • Damage: Guests will be held responsible for any damage or loss caused to hotel property by themselves, their guests, or any person for whom they are responsible. Lancaster House Hotel reserves the right to charge for repair, replacement, or cleaning costs.
  • Behaviour: We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate the stay of any guest whose behavior is deemed disruptive, offensive, or inappropriate without refund.

6. Health and Safety

  • Guest Safety: Your safety is our priority. Please follow all health and safety instructions provided during your stay. In case of emergency, notify hotel staff immediately.
  • COVID-19 Guidelines: We adhere to all government-issued health and safety protocols related to COVID-19. Guests are expected to comply with any on-site safety measures, such as wearing masks, sanitizing hands, and maintaining social distance in public areas.
